makes people to do something. Suhib Munir
(2009) pointed out that motivation is one of factor which influences the
successful of any activity, for instance language learning. This statement
showed that learning English without motivation cannot be successful easily.
Based on Gardner and Lambert (1959) as stated in Hernandez (2008)
instrumental motivation is the willingness of the learners to learn a new
language and get some benefit by practicing it. Meanwhile, integrative
motivation is the willingness of the learners to learn the culture of target

Lets Paraphrase it !
good afternoon guys ☺
Today I would like to share you about paraphrasing
material and how to paraphrase it well. Let’s start with definition of
paraphrase. Paraphrasing is a
restatement of a text, passage, or paragraph by using your own word as stated
by Merriam Webster. In the other hand, paraphrase is rewrite of an article that
belongs to an expert in our word
As students you often get an assignment of paraphrasing
from your lecturer. Before you write a paraphrase you should understand about
the material that you want to paraphrase. When you write a paraphrase, you
rewrite other idea in your own word, it means, you write the meaning of an author’s
idea base on your own word. To make it better you should put some key term from
the author but do not use author’s key term too much.
To make your paraphrase better, here some technique
that will help to paraphrase and avoid plagiarism. The first one is change a
word one part of speech to another. In this case you can use an expert
definition such as, according to, based on James (2016) etc. for example:
Origin : medical professor Johns swansongs
says that global change are influencing the spread of disease.
Paraphrase : James Swansongs (2004) stated that a
professor of medicine change through a globe is causing dieses to spread.
The second one is use a synonym when you write a
paraphrase. It will help you to change the author’s idea into your own word. Then,
don’t forget to change numbers and percentage to different form, and always use
different definition structure when you write your paraphrasing. The next
technique to make your paraphrasing better is don’t forget to change the
sentences structure and use different connecting word.
okay guys hope you enjoy the information, wish you all the best :)

Quotation
Assalamualaikum ikhwan and akhwat :)
Have you ever quoted a quote? Some people who exist
in social media often make a caption from a popular quote, and some other also
quoted some quotation when they write an academic journal. So, what is a
quotation?
Quotation is something that is quoted or the process of quoting something. quotataion often use when someone write a research paper. Because a research paper can be made stronger when we put a quotation from an expert, it will be a good refferences to publish your research paper. There are several types of using quotation there are how to use droped quotation, how to use full sentences of quotation, and how to use block quotation.
- How to use dropped quotation.
Before you want to use a dropped quotation into your
research paper, you should understand how to use it well. Dropped quotations
are partial phrase that took from a complete text. It means the key point of
text. Dropped quotes are comprised of only a few words and give no direction as
to who the speaker is or the content it’s referring to. These must always be
introduced within a sentence, and cannot comprise a complete sentence on their
own. Here are the examples of using drop quotation.
- Use a complete sentence to incorporate a dropped quote. Ex: As Rembrandt’s skill developed, he began painting landscapes that are “romantic and visionary” (Wallace 96).
- Use a tag to incorporate a dropped quote: Rembrandt’s landscapes are “romantic and visionary” (Wallace 96).
- How to use full sentences of quotation
The second one is how to use full sentences
quotation in writing a research paper. The most important thing that you have
to do you should understand how to use it.Full sentence quotes are created by
quoting complete sentences that take up less than 4 lines. Although these are
complete sentences, they cannot be used as stand-alone sentences in your paper.
Introduce them with an additional complete sentence or a signal phrase. here some example of using full sentences of quotation in research paper.
- Over the course of time Rembrandt’s work began to change and focus on different themes, but as Wallace points out: "Rembrandt’s great gift as an etcher lay in preserving a sense of spontaneity while scrupulously attending to close detail.
- As Wallace states, “Rembrandt’s great gift as an etcher lay in preserving a sense of spontaneity while scrupulously attending to close detail”
- How to use block quotation
h The last one is how to use block quotes. Block
quotes are multiple sentences that quoted directly from a source which take up
more than 4 lines in your paper. The type of this quotation takes up a lot of
physical space that is why when you use this type of quotation, you should use
the quotation with maximum of 1-2 for a complete paper.Incorporate a
block quote by adding a complete line space between your own content and the
quote, and offsetting it by indenting the entire quote to the right a single
time.

Translator Vs Interpreter
anyeong cinggu :)
long time not see you, okay today I would like to share you about good topic, Translator and Interpreter. have you ever heard about Translator and interpreter ? or do you know what is differences between Translator and Interpreter? today I would give you some information both of Translator and Interpreter.1. Translator
Translator
is people who is translating one language to others by using dictionary and
write it in written text. a translator should understand about the source of language and the culture of the country that language to be translated. then, a translator must have a good library of dictionary when he wants to translate a language into another language. in other hand, a professional translator should know well the target language that he wants to translate.
2. Interpreter
Interpreter is people who translating a language to another
language orally or also known as direct translation. An interpreter must be
able to translate a language at the time when the speaker involved with one
conversation, the interpreter should translate it directly without using
dictionary. A good interpreter should have a good listening ability. Because,
when a interpreter does not have good listening ability, she/he will difficult
to translate a language into another language. There are two type of interpreter:

- 2. Live mocha
The main advantage of Livemocha
here is its wide selection of languages, 35 languages, that’s pretty
impressive! However, this list is not the misleading drop-down list you will
see on the home page. Since you use the system to contact natives, you can do
that for a larger range of languages (as in Busuu), but the actual courses are
not offered in all of them – based on the standard template nature of how the
system works (which is a point I criticize), I’m confident that the number will
increase further though.
In Livemocha, to get the best out
of the system without paying, you have to contribute by providing corrections
of text/audio in your native language given by others. You might need to do
this for quite a bit before earning enough points to open up a new aspect of
your courses etc.
Livemocha offers language courses
in over 38 languages, all of which blend online instruction with practice and
interaction with native speakers. The Livemocha methodology is structured
around the Whole-Part-Whole learning model, which provides a proven structure
for learners to observe, learn, and then practice new language concepts.
Available to learners of all levels, Livemocha courses are based on the
assumption that language is not merely an academic subject but rather a
performing art – something that must be actively practiced in order to be
mastered. Mimicry and memorization are two of the first steps of language
learning, but to truly become conversant, to truly speak that language, a
learner must actually try it out with a partner. Real conversational fluency
takes good instruction, a dose of courage, and a lot of real-life practice.
Livemocha offers courses in the
following languages: Arabic (modern standard) Bulgarian Catalan Croatian Czech
Dutch English (American) Esperanto Estonian Farsi Finnish French German Greek
Hebrew Hindi Hungarian Icelandic Indonesian Italian Japanese Korean Latvian
Lithuanian Mandarin Chinese Norwegian (Bokmal) Polish Portuguese (Brazil)
Portuguese (Portugal) Romanian Russian Spanish (Mexico) Serbian Slovak Swedish
Turkish Ukrainian Urdu.
3 Busuuu
Although the list of languages is
limited to only the 6 that I listed above, I find Busuu’s course itself to be
better than the Livemocha one.
Firstly, vocabulary usually comes
with the definite article, which in the languages listed is crucial for getting
used to the noun gender. Livemocha does not do this except for inconsistent
user submitted comments on the side. Although you don’t want to be bombarded
with too much information when starting off, it’s important to get used to this
idea of associating some article/gender with a noun even if you don’t
necessarily remember it the first time.
For the first week, Busuu gives
you free access to normally-paid content, such as audio in dialogues and in the
sentence examples for the flashcards. After that first week you can still read
these even if you can’t hear the audio. You also have access to the grammar
course in the first week – I liked the way grammar points were presented in
Busuu more than in LiveMocha.
Busuu also lets you go through a
review of your lesson for free immediately, which Livemocha doesn’t in certain
cases. With LiveMocha you either have to pay, or earn points. Luckily you can
earn the points quick enough in LM, so this is just a minor annoyance. I found
some serious disadvantages in the test/review in both that I mention below, and
this makes the paid aspect of Busuu’s grammar course (after the first week) way
less useful.
Learn faster by using busuu
premium and this website will help you to improve your language skill quickly.
